She completed her studies in theatre science at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, supplementary pedagogical studies focusing on children's dramatic creativity, and postgraduate studies at the Department of Aesthetics of the Faculty of Arts at Comenius University. She is engaged in theatre criticism, actively participating in domestic and international professional events, conferences, and festivals. Her focus is on contemporary Slovak drama, trends, and new directions in staging. As a historian, she particularly explores the personalities of Slovak theatre directing. She works at the Theatre Institute, leading the Research and Education Centre in Theatre since 2022. Since 2009, she has been collaborating on the preparation of the festival Nová dráma/New Drama. She regularly publishes articles for the Magazine kød – specifically about theatre, MLOKi, occasionally for Slovenské divadlo, and recently developed a reviewing collaboration with Radio Devín. She is the author of several studies for Slovak and foreign collections.
He completed his studies in theatre science at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and in theatre dramaturgy at the JAMU in Brno. Ever since school, he began contributing to multiple Slovak and Czech theatrical and cultural periodicals and media (kød, Monitoring divadiel, Kapitál, Svět a divadlo, Taneční zóna, MLOKi and others). He co-founded a student magazine Ateliér 205 at JAMU, between 2017 – 2022 he was a journalist in MLOKi and between 2021 – 2022 an editor-in-chief of Javisko magazine. He worked as a playwright with several Slovak and Czech theatres (BDnR in Banská Bystrica, Actores in Rožňava, Viola in Prešov, Studio G in Ostrava, ZSVOŠU – Workshop of the Zlín City Theatre). His accomplishments include a theatre production titled PLANU (directed by M. David, Studio G), which won the Jantar Award for Best Theatre Production in 2021 in small stage category and a nomination for the Mark Ravenhill Award 2022.
She completed her studies in production at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (AMU) in Prague and doctoral studies at the The Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno. She co-founded the Club of Friends of the Horácké Theatre, organized several prestigious events, exhibitions, and competitions. From 2000 to 2007, she led the independent scene De Facto Mimo in Jihlava. In 2004, she founded the platform KlubKO with a focus on international youth projects. From 2012 to 2020, she was the director of the Fun Fatale festival, and from 2017 to 2021, she served as the president of the Czech Assitej centre. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Academy of Theatre Creators in Slovakia, and since 2021, a member of the committee of the Club of Independent Theatres in Slovakia. She is involved in production, fundraising, research, and educational projects in the field of new circus and contemporary theatre.
She works as a theatre educator, playwright, curator, and critic. She has collaborated with several prominent Polish theatres and directors (Ochota Theatre, Drama Theatre in Walbrzych, Łaźnia Nowa Theatre, and others). From 2020 to 2022, she was the head of the literary department at the National Theatre in Warsaw, also working as a manager and coordinator of educational activities with a focus on children and youth. Since 2021, she has been the artistic director of the international festival for children and youth, KORCZAK DZISIAJ, and since 2022, the appointed director for program matters at the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw. She is the recipient of the Halina Machulska Award for developing the audience and popularizing theatre education in Polish theatre.
He graduated with a degree in aesthetics, Hungarian and German language and literature from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and completed postgraduate studies in theatre education at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. Currently, he is studying in a postgraduate program at a university in Dublin. A theatre director and educator from Budapest, he has nearly 60 professional productions to his credit in Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Romania, and Ireland, primarily for young and adolescent audiences. Since 2010, he has been a member of the board of the Hungarian centre of Assitej and participates in international conferences and congresses. He is the author or co-author of several professional publications focusing on youth theatre or contemporary film.
