About
A performance about the time we live in, about our lives, our greatest dreams, and our deepest fears.
In collaboration with Theatre NIE, Theatre ARCHA+ presents a portrait of society through the eyes of 22 young artists. They came together to capture the time we are living in right now. Through their performance, they speak about how our dreams give us meaning and inner fire, drive us forward, and inspire us to strive for something greater than ourselves. Yet our deepest fears are intertwined with those dreams – fear of failure, rejection, loss, and the future. Each of us faces many uncertainties, but together we can overcome and accept them.
According to the creators, the first step in confronting everyday fears is sharing them and opening up difficult topics together. Sometimes only a little is needed - throwing a tennis ball, running from one end of the room to the other, sitting together, walking together, standing together...
Theatre NIE is one of the most acclaimed international theatres of today, devoted primarily to creating work for young people and adults. In its productions, the company combines physical theatre, a mixture of languages, live music, and storytelling, and brings together artists from the Czech Republic, Norway, and other European countries.
Warning: The performance contains sensitive content, including the topic of sexual abuse.
