Festival history
The festival is organized by the Ján Palárik Theatre, which continues its strong tradition of creation for children and youth. It was here that exceptional productions for young audiences were created, and already in the 1980s, the international festival Divadlo deťom was held – Teen Theatre Fest is its natural continuation in the contemporary spirit.
Vision and mission
Thanks to its clear dramaturgical vision, the festival has a unique position in Slovakia. It offers a diverse range of progressive and inclusive forms – from modern drama to object theater to dynamic physical performances, and offers also workshops, exhibitions and concerts.

The festival would not take place without the support of the founder – the Trnava Self-Governing Region. It is being created also in close cooperation with cultural institutions within the region – Ján Koniarek Gallery in Trnava, Juraj Fándly Library, Trnava Creative Center. It is also co-organized by Malý Berlín Cultural Center.

Festival partners are also the Trnava Region, the Faculty of Law of the Trnava University in Trnava, Nádvorie – a space of contemporary culture, Zaži v Trnave – Municipal Cultural Center and the city of Trnava, GenT and Trnava Clubs, the Theatre Institute, the Department of Scenography of the Faculty of Performing Arts of the Academy of Performing Arts, Lifestarter, and the Dušan Nebyla Private Dance Conservatory.
